September 17th. As a matter of fact, I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth removed that day, but a gut feeling told me to postpone the surgery.

That evening, I was photographing Tomilov’s workshop at Teatr.doc, where I’m currently interning.

When I stepped out of the dressing room after running an interview, he was in the hall and loudly asked, with a hint of mockery, "Could I just sit in this room with you?" I found it funny but awkward, though I didn't let it show.

I stayed at the theatre until closing time. I might have come across as arrogant that evening, but he still offered to take me home. I agreed.

While we were on the tube, he suddenly pulled out his Pentax Zoom camera and took a picture of me. I blinked, but he said I will look beautiful anyway.

"You roll your eyes so poetically," he remarked as we were getting close to my place.

In such a short time, he made me feel so free and secure.

His name is Artyom K.. I realise that, given the circumstances, we likely won't ever be close, but I hope to see him again.
